Here we come to the wonderfulness that is Jason Isaacs. Many of these pictures come courtesy of www.gloomygus.org, a wonderful fabulous website that contains loads and loads of Jason Isaacs pictures. If you are more obsessed than I am, this is where you should go.

Unfortunately, I only have a few pictures of Jason Isaacs on here. That's because I've only seen two of his films, and I don't really like the pictures I've seen from the others. He has short hair ... and I think long hair suits him much, much better.

Please read my captions of the pictures as I spent ages over them and you might find them quite amusing.

Anyway, here are the few I really do like:

Tavington with a Sword As Colonel Tavington in The Patriot, about to kill Heath Ledger. Yay! Young, stupid and naive, Heath Ledger really can't act. Hah. Serves him right. But doesn't Tavington look good ... although it looks like he's holding a pickaxe when it is in fact a sword. The hair, though! The shirt! The hard, unrelenting jawline ... sigh. Dearie me.

This is again Jason Isaacs in The Patriot, in the same scene as the photo above. I love this scene - it's the only one where he really lets his hair down. In both senses.

Tell me about ... Ohio Not perhaps the best shot of Jason Isaacs himself, but it does show quite clearly the wonderful uniforms in The Patriot, and also includes Tom Wilkinson, who's very funny if not quite so gorgeous.
Tavington in the Sun Here he has his hair tied back. For a long time this was the only picture I could find of Jason Isaacs in The Patriot, and it annoyed me because the one with his hair down is my absolute favourite scene. Maybe. There are a few.But I do like the lighting in this photo, it really shows his jawline. And those eyes. Hee hee.
The delectable Lucius Malfoy The second film where Jason Isaacs has long hair is of course Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, where he plays Draco Malfoy's father Lucius. I don't know how many of you have handled the DVD, or seen the interview with Jason Isaacs in the Extra Features, but his voice is so incredibly different in real life to how it is in the two films! It's amazing. Thankfully, though, he sounds fairly normal - not as nice as Jeremy Irons (who could be?) but pretty intelligent and good-humoured.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures - I certainly enjoyed finding them (and looking at them!). Feel free to take any of them for personal use. I can't guarantee that you won't get sued, but if you do it won't be by me.
