Yes,
John Malkovich. Possibly one of the most fabulous people in the world.
He's good-looking, he's intelligent, he's very funny, he dresses well,
he acts well ... in fact, he's just fabulous.
 |
This
would be Malkovich in one of his most well-known films, Dangerous
Liaisons. He plays (in case you don't know, which you really
should) a scheming, seductive count who tries to lure into bed
one of the most wholesome women of the aristocracy, only to carelessly
fall in love with her. He is egged on by the ruthless Marquise
de Meteuil, played by Glenn Close in this adaptation, and 'instructs'
on the way a young girl named Cecile Volanges. Anyway, it's a
great film, and there are few people I know who haven't been seduced,
as it were, by Malkovich's charms. He may look a bit like a jackal,
but he's charming and so, so desirable ... |
 |
This
is him again in Dangerous Liaisons with his partner-in-crime,
the Marquise de Meteuil. Doesn't he look lovely ... his clothes
are just exquisite. |
 |
I am sure that if you haven't seen the film, this might look a
little revolting and even disturbing to you! However, those in
the know will understand just how gorgeous he really is ... |
 |
This
is Malkovich in Johnny English with Rowan Atkinson. Dodgy
haircut, I think, but I love the way he's tilting his head. He's
always very very much in character - when I first saw him on TV
as himself I was very thrown. |
 |
This
is him in Ripley's Game (which I haven't seen but really
want to see), looking deadly and dangerous and basically desirable
as usual. I love the suit ... |
That's
it for now, I'm afraid, but perhaps I'll add more later!
